EVT 2017 Season
Esk Valley Theatre present
Three women. One man. A man who was known by some as the 'Hermit of Hull' and by others as the 'Don Juan of Hull'.
The poet Philip Larkin had an intriguing private life and juggled the love of three very different women over a period of thirty years.
This touching and humorous play reveals the influence three women had on his work, and how they were influenced by him.

The Friends of EVT invite you to The Robinson Institute, Glaisdale:
Pig Race Night
Saturday 6th May 2017
Doors open at 7 pm.
With the first race under starters orders at 7.30 pm.
The Friends of Esk Valley Theatre are hoping that you will join them for their first ever night of pig racing. As you would expect they are not real pigs but the cute, fluffy, pink, battery operated type.
Entry is free and you'll need to bring some of your favourite liquid refreshment along too. There will be a tote and over 18's will be able to place a bet for 50 pence.
There are six pigs in each race and you can support this event by 'owning' a pig for one race for just £5. If your pig wins you will not only receive a small prize but your pig will race again in the winners race.
There are a limited number of pigs so to reserve yours, please ring Jayne Turner on 07581 289348. Jayne will need to know what you wish to call your pig as this will go on the race card along with your name as owner.
This promises to be a fun filled evening with Robert Smith as Master of Ceremonies. Definitely an evening not to be missed.
With thanks to the Race Sponsors;
We are also grateful to the following businesses that have generously donated prizes:
